A Note From the Editors
Dearest Readers,
Ah, Spring, that time of year when every student’s mind turns to thoughts of literature! Welcome to the third annual spring issue of Beyond the Margins. The Editors continue to appreciate healthy debates over the poetic implementations of the exclamation point and relishes working around their many busy schedules to work devotedly on the magazine. The Editors are also proud to announce that they have tried several new things this semester: participation in a collaborative event with Black and White during Western Connecticut State University’s Spring Writing Festival, the acquisition of two new skilled editors, and ran the magazines first short fiction contest (the results of which can be seen in our spring issue). Furthermore, Beyond the Margins is flattered to have two prestigious premiers during this beautiful April weather.
To all of our contributors, especially the new talents that have been kind enough to send us the fruits of their labors: we send our gratitude. To you, readers both loyal and new: we sincerely hope that the selections made for this issue are to your satisfaction.
Special apologies for the lateness of this issue; technical difficulties--that have been rectified--were entirely to blame.
