Meet the Authors

Ernest Bailey

Ernest Bailey is a sophomore English Literature major at WCSU and active member of the Roger Sherman Debate Society, who has published previously: both in The Echo and to non-WCSU-affiliated electronic poetry publications. His hobbies include "playing Wii sports, smoking vile cigars and gazing disappointedly at [his] unpublished first novel."

Antonio Carvalho

“I am a junior working toward a Double Major in Painting and English Literature. I was born in a small village in sunny Portugal and came to America at five years old. My father was originally a tinsmith in the village. Since I was a child, summer vacations in Portugal were always wonderful. Perhaps my favorite writer is Walt Whitman.”

Tyler Davis

Thomas Jacob

Mr. Jacob is a senior in WCSU’s Music and Professional Writing programs.

Karin Mansberg

“I am an Illustration major pursuing my first undergraduate degree and I am to graduate in spring 2011. My images always tell stories about my experiences and the world         around us. I am interested in myths, fairy tales, art history, poetry, and animation. I was born in Estonia and moved to United States when I was 21, currently living in Danbury. Some of my work can be viewed at http://karina.cgsociety.org/gallery/.”

Zach Richter

George Such

Mr. Such has had a chiropractic practice in Richland, Washington for the past twenty-        six years, and recently completed an undergraduate degree in English at Washington State University Tri-Cities.  He hopes to begin graduate study in English this coming fall (the applications are out and I have my fingers crossed.)  His poetry has been published in Dislocate, Hiram Poetry Review, Lullwater Review, The MacGuffin, Roanoke Review, and several other literary journals.
